Marisa Acocella Marchetto turned her eleven-month battle with breast cancer, into a witty and inspiring graphic novel, Cancer Vixen. She simultaneously created an inspiring life dedicated to helping women deal with and prevent this disease.
On October 16th, National Mammogram Day – starting at around 8:30 a.m., Marisa will be standing outside St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York City, giving the first 10 women in line for their free screenings signed copies of CANCER VIXEN.
On October 23rd At 7:30 p.m., Marisa will be reading from and signing copies of CANCER VIXEN at Barnes & Noble Greenwich Village (at 396 Avenue of the Americas).
On Wednesday, October 28, 2009 from 6:-9:30pm, Please join Marissa Acocella Marchetto for the fabulous CANCER VIXEN FUNd raiser , honoring the PATRON SAINT OF BREAST CANCER, Evelyn Lauder.
