Review: Doctor Davids Blog

Cancer Blogs, Pediatric Oncology — By on August 19, 2008 at 2:52 pm

Doctor David’s Blog, Musings Of A Pediatric Oncologist, is a wonderful blogspot written by David Loeb MD, PhD.

The purpose of his blog is to write informally for anyone who is interested in pediatric oncology, cancer research, cancer treatments, and breaking medical news.

Being diagnosed with cancer is horrible. Being a kid with cancer is especially terrible.

This is a disease that robs kids of their childhood. Either because of the disease itself, the treatments, or side effects, children with cancer spend a lot of time in the hospital, become isolated from their peers, and even when they are treated successfully they often never fully recover.

Dr. David’s archives cover a variety of topics including: Being a pediatric oncologist, breast cancer, hot topics in cancer research, pain control, viruses and cancer, patient stories, stem cell research. He also has an archive called fun stuff, which covers events and other interesting and inspiring stories.

We think Dr. David is terrific!  Please let us know what you think.
