From After cancer, now what

I remember watching Christmas specials with my family when I was a kid. People I wouldn’t necessarily choose to watch, like Andy Williams and Perry Como but others I was dying to see like Fat Albert’s Christmas and Donny and Marie. Even if the host wasn’t someone you wanted to see you could be sure that there would be a guest you’d like. I’m old enough that we had one tv and four tv channels for most of my childhood and you watched what Mom and Dad decided you were going to /br /So in 1977 we watched the Bing Crosby Christmas special and I don’t know if this was what my parents expected but it sure isn’t what I expected. This song has been in my life at Christmas ever /br /object width=”425″ height=”344″param name=”movie” value=”;hl=en_USamp;fs=1amp;”param name=”allowFullScreen” value=”true”param name=”allowscriptaccess” value=”always”embed src=”;hl=en_USamp;fs=1amp;” type=”application/x-shockwave-flash” allowscriptaccess=”always” allowfullscreen=”true” width=”425″ height=”344″/embed/objectbr /br /What about you? Everyone has a favorite Christmas song, even my friends who are atheists Jews. What’s yours? Feel free to add links in the comments. Merry Christmas everyone!div class=”blogger-post-footer”img width=’1′ height=’1′ src=’’ alt=” //div
